This work was created using a photo copier, I achieved this affect by placing the sculpture and the offcuts left over from when I made the structure directly on the scanner. This shoot is my interpretation of shadows and an expansion of my photogram work. The angles within these images are meant to mimic the construction lines utilised on my developments of Stage 1.

Digital Developments
This maquete was inspired by the angles and shapes created by the folded paper utilised in the photograms of my first stage. To capture this structure I experimented with traditional photography but I realised the images didn't capture my themes of shadows as I really wanted to show how the remnants of an object which aren't being lit, in itself, can be art. To work around this is took the work onto the scan bed which therefore exposes the pieces of the maquete which normally wouldn't be exposed to light. This idea of the inverse of what is usually shown led me to create these digital developments which I believe emphasise the idea of the shadows of an object, what is being left behind and covered up, is beautiful.
